26 September saw 13 men attend the Men's Day Out.
With the perfect day to set off on the water, the guys with ample supply of food, liquid and bait, headed off to catch fish. Unfortunately, the only feedback to come back not so positive was, 'the big fish weren't biting!' This is the second Men's Day Out to be held and the Charity is very happy to see the number of attending has increased. This fun day out on the harbour fishing charter provides an informal opportunity for burn survivors to enjoy the company of others similarly affected. A warm welcome to those partaking for the first time, we look forward to growing connections.. Again 'Seasprite Charters' skipper, Alan, offered his services to support and assist with this growing event... Many thanks to Alan for his continued support. Men's Day Out is available for burn survivors, father's of burn survivors and peer support males. |
