The National Camp for New Zealand Burn Survivors

The five day camp organised by the Burn Support Group was another resounding success, featuring amazing weather which contributed to the enjoyment of all the provided outdoor activities.

The unique experience provided fun and games for the motivated 20 individuals attending, also inspiration and courage shone through the interactions of the children and welcome visitors.

This year as previously there was a diverse range of recreational and fun inspired activities.

It was a delight to entertain the burn survivors and families that visited during the camp.

Campers created a vibrant team as they displayed their talents at archery and mountain boarding, activities provided by Shakespear masters.
  
These wonderful activities foster a great sense of camaraderie for all.

Everyone's a winner at camp, but there are special mentions of achievements, this year we celebrate:

JOVANA STANKOVICH & WIRIPO ADAMS receiving the "Alan Breslau Book '' as recognition of the noticed little extra efforts applied during camp.
NYEYAH CASTLE,  sponsored by the fabulous KARL AND JAN BRANNIGAN, also the selected GRANT A WISH champion, Nyeyah will be provided with piano lessons!
TEARNA TEOKOTAI who along with the group celebrated her graduation.
Well done and a massive CONGRATULATIONS for everyone's special moments and memories..

The leaders who provide their time, patience, commitment and support play a pivotal role over the five days.  They work incredibly hard, have amazing relationships and bonds with the children , creating memorable and impactful experiences for all those involved.
