Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser for the Burn Support Group Charitable Trust Ltd
Last winter Anna, from Room 12, Leamington School, experienced severe burns following her hot water bottle bursting on her in bed. Next week Anna is going to be hosting a sausage sizzle fundraising for the ‘Burns Support Group’ who have provided her, and her family, with ongoing support following her accident. Anna also hopes to raise awareness amongst her peers, and their families, about the dangers of and prevention of burns and will be distributing some brochures and goodies on the day outside the school hall. Some of the local Cambridge firefighters are coming to help with the cooking of sausages and provide general support on the day. Pre-orders will be essential and a maximum of 2 sausages per child will be available. Orders will be delivered to your child’s class at lunchtime on the day. Anna would be delighted if you are in a position to support this fundraiser. If your child is keen to fill their tummy with a sausage and support a great cause, please complete the order form that will be coming home with your child today. 150 raffle tickets are available and all monies raised will contribute to the Second Annual Women's Burn Survivor Retreat. Tickets are $20.00 each.
