There are many ways that you can get a burn
The Lion Foundation grants funding for 2021 Childrens Camp
Thank you to the Lion Foundation for granting funds of $10,000.00 supporting the 2021 Children’s Camp (September 2020).
From the volunteers, leaders, support peers and the attending children, our sincere appreciation in contributing to this valuable and necessary event.
“Camp Awhi is a chance for kids to be kids”. It gives the opportunity to make genuine connections with other children, re-discover the fun in physical fitness, learn their own strengths and find their own voices, along with a whole lot of fun..
Mangere – Otahuhu local grants
Burn Support Group are extremely happy with the response and support given towards the new initiative hygiene kits provided for the burn survivor during their stay in hospital.
These personal kits have been designed with the advice of burn survivors and the wonderful and appreciated Life Pharmacy Botany. The Charity would also like to express and acknowledge the Mangere – Otahuhu Council, through the local board grants scheme they provided $1826.09 funding to provide the items in the kits. (October 2020).
Xfire Ltd partners with Burn Support Charitable Trust
On behalf of the Burn Support Group, thank you to Jeff Parkinson for your approach to this Charity, with your generous donation of monthly sponsorship.
This kind gesture will contribute and support the many initiatives provided to the National Burn Community.
As we move forward into 2021, numbers are increasing at each event, promotion and education is reaching more of the public, raising the awareness of the support available during and after hospitalisation. It is our mission to ensure burn survivors and their families/whanau “never feel alone”.
Burn Support Group is deeply grateful for this valuable donation (September 2020), and look forward to the incredible opportunities for the future.
