Ways to volunteer
Event Support
Help organise and run our community events, camps, and workshops. From setting
up venues and assisting with activities to facilitating sessions that leverage your

Fundraising initiatives
Join our fundraising efforts to help plan and execute campaigns that generate vital
resources for our services. While we have a few well-established avenues for

Burn survivor peer support
If you’re a burn survivor yourself, consider becoming a peer support volunteer. Your
lived experience and insights can provide invaluable guidance and hope to others on
their recovery journey.
Volunteer requirements
- Commitment to our mission of supporting burn survivors
- Minimum age of 18 years (or 16+ with parental consent for certain roles)
- Ability to commit to required volunteer hours (for specific events)
- Completion of our volunteer training programme
- Police background check (required for work with vulnerable populations)

Donation Options
Every donation to the Burn Support Group Charitable Trust directly funds essential
services that help burn survivors and their families rebuild their lives. As a registered
charity ( CC48691), all donations over $5 are tax-deductible.
