Over many years Burn Support Group has been able to fund hospital equipment for burns patients as well as various burn prevention education projects including:

2001 Burn Prevention/Awareness Video 'Burnwise' - produced by Greenstone Pictures to be distributed free of charge to all Auckland primary schools. 2006 Updated DVD version of 'Burnwise' produced and distributed to all primary/intermediate school in New Zealand.

Equipment for new National Burn Centre at Middlemore Hospital.

Donated by the Fire Protection Association for Mr Quick Cool mouse pads to be distributed to all primary and intermediate schools as a reminder/incentive to teachers to keep up the use of the Burnwise DVD.

New hi-tech bed for National Burn Centre at Middlemore Hospital.

$5,000

Printing of special envelopes and postage to distribute Mr Quick Cool mouse pads. Money donated by Fire Protection Association. We have also helped to enable burn specialist nurses to attend conferences overseas.
